Mongo: Shes a super shy girl, She will take a while to warm up to you but once she does she just wants loving and lots of petting. She came into rescue with Stella, but they were not bonded so she will be adopted out to a family with other dogs. She is a lazy girl that loves to nap. Mongo needs to be in a home with no cats. Gets along well with other dogs as long as they aren’t jumping all over her. She is on anti-inflammatories and a joint supplement and will need to be on those for life. So we would not recommend a home in which she would be going up and down stairs frequently. She is house trained. UPDATE 10/3: Mongo has injured her knee and is seeing our specialist next week and it’s likely she will have knee surgery. The recovery time for this procedure will be 6-8 weeks.
Update 10/12: Mongo had knee surgery with a specialist and is back recovering with her foster family. After she recovers she’ll be ready for adoption!
